A UK driving licence is an official document issued by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) in England, Scotland, and Wales, or the Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA) in Northern Ireland. It allows individuals to legally drive specific vehicle categories on UK roads.

Key Features:

• Types: Provisional, Full, and Special Licences (e.g., for motorbikes, buses, or lorries).
• Validity: Generally valid until age 70, then requires renewal every 3 years.
• Photocard & Paper Counterpart: Since 2015, the paper counterpart has been discontinued, and only the photocard is used.
